How credible is Victor Corpus? A soldier who defected to the NPA. He can be a double agent, we never know.

Filipinos are looking back 25 years ago but the Country is still in transition. The late Ninoy sacrificed his life for the Filipinos, His a great Man, A man of integrity. The country that he died for is getting worst. Thus, conflict is everywhere & good governance is being denied & Filipinos are deprived with decent life......

The most explosive moment in Liberal Party History has to be the Plaza Miranda Bombing, whose anniversary is coincidentally also today. I have always been intrigued by the persistent theory that Jose Maria Sison warned Ninoy Aquino to stay away from the Plaza Miranda Rally. Even though he was the standard bearer of the LP slate and was scheduled to deliver a trademark speech that evening, he diverted to the Manila Hotel, thus avoiding the two grenades that killed nine and injured dozens soon after. Marcos, who was instantly blamed for the attack at the time, suffered a major electoral setback. Later, testimony from Victor Corpus placed the blame on Joma and Jovito Salonga in his autobiography came to believe it too. (If Marcos had done it, they would all have died. As it was, the NPA grenade thrower missed the stage with one of the two he hurled.)
