Bert:

Am not in any mood to write a blog at the moment, younger bro was visiting and we've been goofing off just hitting the pedal and see how long we can stay at 90mph without calling attention to ourselves :), bumming at the beach, chilling in the jazz bars and gulping cheapo Asti from Martini by Martini & Rossi.

Dropped him off at the airport this morning and grabbed a snooze in the office parking lot. Dang, back to the coal mines, what a drag.

might not work here as effectively since voters are not easily identified with any political party and are not required to state party affiliation during registration.

Whaddya expect.

Voters would rather be identified with personalities instead of issues?

It's Pro-GMA vs Anti-GMA

It's Pro-Benign0 vs Anti-Benign0

Its Bipolar Transvestite vs Coconut Racist

It is Pro-Celebrity A vs Anti-Celebrity A

When it comes issues - discussion has remained trivial, primitive, and totally devoid of substance..

There's an overwhelming demand for celebrity politics instead of issues-based politics.

Supply will gladly meet the demand. Voters get what they ask for - celebrities. Integrity, experience, and vision is just an afterthought - after the celebrities are already in office - and people are in another EDSA drama removing a celebrity they could have chose not to vote for in the first place.

You can put any ad you want, as long as you have melodrama - someone's buying - wholesale.

Total Drama Island - you asked for it, you got it,

Ah, yes, thank you, Bencard. I remember now, it's the movement that allegedly facilitated the registering of democrat voters but not republicans. Well, might not work here as effectively since voters are not easily identified with any political party and are not required to state party affiliation during registration.

bert, i believe "acorn" is a controversial pro-obama "movement" that has been in the news during and after the last presidential campaign (accused of voter-registration fraud in several states, for one thing). i just hope this "ako mismo" is not just another gaya-gaya enterprise.

"balanos" in Greek, "acorn" describes the shape of a male's head below.

"acorn" is a common slang term for the male genitalia. urban dictionary qualifies it as an unusually small one.

-----

why moderated? was the word "acorn" used before "mismo?"

-----

pardon me, but bert already defined "acorn" by using the word "manoy."
