The Lintang Bedol issue is by far on my opinion the most blatant display of arrogance of any government official to his superior. No less than the COMELEC Chairman and the En Banc was slapped in the face by his actions.

Abalos is a laughing stock at that time when Bedol even had the audacity to have an interview with GMA 7 and display his guns! Talk about the gun ban order from the COMELEC.

Even Commissioner Garcillano's ignoramic performance in the House truly reflects the situation that we have in COMELEC. I really pity Justice Melo's decision to enter COMELEC, it would tarnish his sterling career in the judiciary. I prefer to remember him as a Justice of the Supreme Court rather than a COMELEC chairman. But who knows, he just might straighten the Commission....

just might.

You could also compare the foot-dragging to the spectacular dispatch with which the Mayor Isnaji and son have been arrested and charged based on “propaganda,” at least according to Sen. Pimentel.

Justice Secretary Raul Gonzalez said the picture, along with a video showing Isnaji counting the money and the testimony of PNP Intelligence Group chief Senior Superintendent Winnie Quidato, constituted strong evidence that could pin down the Isnajis on kidnapping charges - PDI.

But then why was there no urgent determination of “probable cause” and arrest of Abalos based on Neri’s under oath testimony (“Sec, may 200 ka dito”) corroborated by JDV Jr. and Lozada? Has Abalos been missing too?

The police claim that Mayor Isnaji has pocketed P 3 million pesos? How could they know it was not P 2,999, 500.00? Have those youthful thugs texted the police, Ces or anybody about any missing ransom money or P 500? I guess they are upset too.
