Now, there seems to be a value-added as being a politician - one can go into a kind of racketeering activity. In effect, when we pay politicians for their services and they can still get extra money on the sides using their "influence", then that is a case of double whammy. Are the voters who elected them in office at fault? It can be said to be so. If we hire politicians as our employees, we should be the masters but in reality, we become their slaves.

ETHICS DOESNT WORK ON THESE THICK SKINNED POLITICIANS. NOR THE RULES OF ETHICS PENETRATE THEIR THICK SKULLS. THIS HAS BEEN THE ENDEMIC CAUSE OF CORRUPTION IN OUR COUNTRY.
