Primer:

Most comments are in the nature of refutations. Which gives an indication that the commentator is in a debate-mode. It is the same o’ mode in PEX, ABS-CBN, Sunstar Forums, PBC, filipinoforums.net, the defunct INQ forum.

Are commentators incapable of switching to brainstorm mode? Are we incapable of contributing something productive and non-toxic that addresses a toxic reality?

In the context of time and space configuration, the concern in New Media is at bottom, on the here and now – at the speed of light.

Against this backdrop, it does not become remote that the requisite criteria of credibility, honesty, debate, discourse may sometimes appear to have been compromised since blogs are supposed to carry new and fresh ideas and as soon as laid on the table, a whole wave of conjectures and refutations logically ensues.

Perhaps, nothing ought to be final as to be absolutely authoritative. Rather, we can only provide tentative albeit normative proposals on each and every issue that confronts us. If FV can reach to as much audience as possible, the better for its longevity.

In the end, everything decentralized will be centralized. In like manner, everything too centralized will always proceed to decentralization. So we might as well let FV run its natural course, wherever it leads – us.

Whatever anyone did or failed to do, wittingly or not, is ultimately none of anyone's business.

Whether we like it or not, the TRUTH is that it is ideas that determine the course of history. They are ultimately what uderpin ACTIONS.

Without, ideas, actions are nothing more than a bodily function. Whereas the ability to act is shared across the animal kingdom down to a lowly tapeworm, the ability to develop and exchange ideas is something unique to humans beings.

So let's just continue exchanging ideas and not be too presumptious in our speculations on how much or how little the other is "doing", or how much "qualifications" one possesses to earn him/her the right to speak out.
