Whether it is for political survival or not, it seems The Magdalo group has split its support among party lines by backing Nacionalista Party candidate Senator Manny Villar for President in the 2010 elections and Liberal Party candidate Senator Mar Roxas for Vice President.

9. Representative Ruffy Biazon
10. Former senator Tito Sotto
11. Atty. JV Bautista
12. Joey De Venecia.
According to the statement to the press, the conditions by which these endorsements are made is that there should be a push to free Senator Trillanes IV, military reform, as well as having no alliance with President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
