What is this crap with Erap, does he need another slap in the face to get the hint that we don’t want him back in office. After succumbing to the pressure to kiss ass in order to claim a Presidential Pardon, he turns around and attacks the lady whose ass he had to kiss in the first place. Frankly, I don’t like that ass, and I don’t like Joseph Estrada either.
Erap should remain history, and Gloria should become history.
Former President Estrada does the nation no good to stay in the spotlight, if he wishes to do the nation good, then remain in the background, push for reform, but not because of the need for another power grab. This is not kindergarten where anyone can just claim a do-over. There are far better candidates, albeit not as influential, that can run the country.
As for now, the only reason Erap can get away with flirting with the idea of running again, is because Gloria herself cannot be trusted to leave by 2010. The only individual with enough clout and popularity to stand up to the machinery of Gloria is probably Erap. Now, isn’t that damn sad of our nation. That a man convicted of plunder can still hold so much sway in the arena of public opinion.
But believe me, my dear readers, all politicians, in the end have only number 1 to look out for, and The Philippines is somewhere between 12 and 13 in that ranking.
Erap must not and should not be able to run again. This holds double true for Arroyo herself. The oldies are not in fashion any more. These individuals had their chance. If they want to stay in this decade, then they should just remain there, and let us move forward without them.

I for one would like to see him run again so that I can see him lose.
If Erap runs, it moves our nation backwards instead of forward.. If his ego needs a boost, maybe he should just star in a movie instead.. I don’t need to see his face on the campaign trail once more..
Let new people run, those who don’t have that cloud of doubt hanging over them, those who haven’t been convicted of plunder, those who don’t have friends involved in jueteng, those who are more competent..
If he wants to do the nation good, then let him endorse a candidate, not because of personal connections, but because he truly believes in that candidate..
If Erap runs for office, then truly, my hope for the country’s political maturity will have dwindled into nothing..
