We are missing the point here…
Noong Sunday inutos ni President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo ang leave of absence ng mga piskal na may kaugnayan sa issue ng suhulan ng korte kaya nabasura ang kaso ng droga ng tinaguriang Alabang Boys na nahuli ng PDEA noong nakaraang taon.
Tulad ng isang sabungan ay nag pula ng kasuotan at arm band ang mga nagtratrabaho sa Depratment of Justice bilang protesta sa kautusan na leave of absence ng kanilang mga kasamahan habang all white naman ang PDEA bilang pagpapakita ang kalinisan daw ng kanilang mga konsensya.
Pero sa bagay na ito sino na naman ang naguguluhan sa batuhang nagaganap sa pagitan ng PDEA at DOJ, maaari ngang may nagaganap na anomalya pero ang totoo nalilihis tayo sa totoong issue na dapat ay matagal na nating inaayos lalo na ang mga nasa gobyerno at iyon ay ang sugpuin ang issue ng drugs sa Pilipinas. Natawa na lang ako noong sinabi ng PDEA last week sa balita na ang Pilipinas ay ang bansang may mataas na Drug Case sa buong ASIA, ito lang ang tugon ko, nasasabi nga ninyong ganyan nga ang estado ng bansa tungkol sa kaso ng DROGA, may concrete plan na ba tayo para sugpuin ito o patuloy pa rin ang iringan ng dalawang kampo.
Kung may sinasabi ang PDEA na may suhulang nagaganap sa DOJ, sabihin nila ang pangalan ng diretsuhan kaysa ipa-LOA ito ni PGMA kaso mas tumatagal ang imbestigasyon mas nagiging matagal ang kaso at ang dapat sanang ginugugol na para mag-isip ng matibay na kampanya laban sa droga.

Excellent point Flow, the reason why there have been some who have looked at this situation, and asked, just what is the SOP with regards to buy-bust operations.. when even many in the PDEA are clueless, your point is made.. The action plan, that is a key factor that we should be focusing on.

Open your eyes. Alabang Boys’ lawyer typing in a letterhead of the DOJ the supposed release order of the suspect. Lawyers call it “res ipsa loquitor”.
investigations really take time. it is not as simple as pointing who is the allege bribe taker.
there is a lot of probing to do in order the deliver justice.
i think it is sop to suspend people who are under investigation and if they really are innocent, they will not instigate a mass leave for other prosecutors.

Sa palagay ko eh medyo kulang ang research mo bago mo nacompose itong blog. Sa ganang akin, base sa link na ibinigay ni brian dapat talagang imbestigahan ang DOJ sa napakaraming drug cases na dinismiss nila.
Hindi biro ang salaping ginugugol ng gobyerno sa pagtugis sa mga sindikatong sangkot sa mga ipinagbabawal na gamot at pagkatapos ay ibabasura lamang ng DOJ nang hindi man lamang naihahain sa korte.
One or the other is either not performing duties it originally intended to, or performing duties in an improper way, to the detriment of the system’s original purpose.
The common duties of these departments that many Filipinos expect them to do are to send bad people to jail and protecting citizens from future consequences of drug pushing and drug addicts, at least on this case.
When entities are not acting as a team and coordinate its duty to achieve common goals, the citizens of this country will continue to suffer. It is common knowledge in which government officials or employees seek illegitimate personal gain through bribery, extortion, cronyism, nepotism, patronage, graft, and embezzlement. It’s an organized rent seeking type of political corruption where there’s no transparency promoting narrow interests.

PDEA and DOJ are both corrupt. It is wise to keep bad people in jail.
remind ko lang kayo, this is how i look in the situation, im not pointing on facts, 2nd my eyes are open we never came to this situation of all along we have tough plans against drugs and 3rd if government have projects against drugs why there are issues like this.
There will be no issue if these entities are performing their duties for the good of the people, period.
You all can focus on technicality on what has happened or has not. It won’t matter in the eyes of the many filipino people unless you all are blind and deaf. :)

1. A proper system of Drug Enforcement
2. The Political will to enact it
