For once, I am going to be on the side of Secretary Raul Gonzalez. In most cases, his nonsensical political attacks become the most amusing part of my days. His delusional analysis is usually the butt of many jokes, but today, I am on his side, as he continues his attack against Sulpicio Lines. I wrote two days back that Sulpicio is trying to bamboozle their way out of this tragedy that they most certainly had a big hand in, the way they are going about it smacks of a company who is neither sorry for the victims or their families, but also wants to pile on the grief that they have caused by scamming everyone into not having lawyers play a hand in their measly P200,000 payout to the legal heirs of the victims.

As I have been anguishing in the past few days, along with the many families of the passengers on The MV Princess of The Stars, a Sulpicio Line ship, my anger has also risen to unfathomable heights. The murderous nature of this shipping company must stop. If for no other reason than to help future victims of Sulpicio and to give justice to the thousands of lives lost because of the inadequacies of this company.
