Well, being a new kid on the block can be fun sometimes, and in our case, FilipinoVoices has much to be appreciative about. To the many individuals who participated in the writing project, thank you for your insightful articles. The issues that were brought to light gave us food for thought.

When we launched Filipino Voices, we simultaneously launched The Philippine Issues Writing Project. And while it may not have been the best time to launch the project, what’s done is done. It has taken 6 weeks, but the word is finally spreading, that yes, we have a writing project, and that yes, there are prizes too!

Along with the launching of Filipino Voices.com we would like to also announce the simultaneous launching of a writing project. The Philippine Issues writing project. You decide the issue, in your own words, in your own style. This is a way in which everyone can participate, and this is also a way in which our readers will realize the multi dimensional aspect of the challenges we face as a nation.

So whether you are a technology blogger, a personal blogger, socio-political blogger, or a lifestyle blogger, anyone can participate, and is encouraged to participate.
