The Congressmen Who Signed HR 1109 Are…

via Noemi on her blog, here is a list of The Congressmen who signed HR 1109. Take note that those who signed may not necessarily also have registered an Aye Vote during the Viva Voce voting last Tuesday Night. These are the signatories to the actual resolution itself.

Many bloggers have followed suit, and are continuing to show their opposition towards the passage of this resolution.  They have begun to post this list on social networks such as Facebook, Multiply, and on their respective blogs as well.

or as Cong Biazon relayed to me in Facebook “there may have been some who did not sign but voted in favor.”

The list above was based on
    http://www.scribd.com/doc/14523445/House-Resolution-No-1109

Lastly let me just say that

I am ashamed of Congressman Roman Romulo of Pasig City, Lone District for supporting HR1109

    • UP n grad says:

The shame does not belong to you, does it? Don’t discount the possibility that Romulo voted his conscience and that you would have been totally unable to change his mind had you (together with Marck and Mong Palatino) had gone to his office last month to present your position about 1109. [ Look at the last page of HR1109 which addresses many of the fears expressed by the anti-1109 people.]

      • Noemi Lardizabal Dado momblogger says:

Shame is a feeling so it is directed to me as well. Even though I just moved to Pasig City recently (moved from Makati where no congressman endorsed the HR 1109) and didn’t vote for him, I don’t know what his conscience told him. It is my gut feeling that it was not about the welfare and the future of my children, and his constituents.

  2. baycas says:

The once “delaying-galen” of a congressman is not in the list.

  3. Juwan_D says:

So here we are again…its just a matter of time when GMA can finally breath better…securing the PM position and avoid going to jail when her term ends.

Pero ano ba ang dahilan kung bakit nakakalusot si GMA sa kanyang mga kabulastugan???

    1. Puro KURAKOT AT MANLOLOKONG POLITIKO ANG BINOTO NG TAONG BAYAN
    2. Mga BOTANTE NA TATANGAP NG 100 PESO KAPALIT NG KANILANG BOTO
    3. MEDIA NA KARAMIHAN AY KASING KURAKOT NA DIN NG MGA POLITIKO
    4. OPPOSITION NA WALANG MGA CREDIBILIDAD!!!!! OTRONG MGA KAWATAN!!!!!
    5. MILITANTENG GRUPO NA PURO PANSARILING INTERES LANG!!!!!
    6. MGA LEADER NG LIPUNAN NA WALANG GINAWA KUNDI ANG MAGNAKAW AT MANLOKO NG TAONG-BAYAN…SUBALIT TINATAWAG PA DIN NATING SIR!!!! AT HONORABLES!!!!!!

    AT MARAMI PANG IBA!!!!

SO NGAYON…RALLY NA NAMAN…SIGAW DITO SIGAW DOON..MARCHA DITO MARCHA DOON!!!

AT KUNG SAKALING MAGKAROON NG PEOPLE POWER…MATANGAL SI GMA..PAPALIT NGAYON ANG OPPOSITION…WALA PA GIN MABABAGO…BAGON ISTILO NG PANGNGURAKOT LANG!!!!!!!!!!!! PAGNANANAKAW!!!!!!!!!!

    SUSMARYOSEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Akoi says:

The passage in the lower house of this GMA vested HR 1109 is a clear manifestation that indeed this country is not anymore a democratic and a republican state as declared in the constitution.

All of us is wondering what could be the next step? Is GMA be a Prime Minister with no terms limits and enjoying the trust ad confidence of her allies? This scenario is not far from reality because pieces of manifestation are already evident.

Together, let us not be silent in this tyrannic move by the administration..we have already been fooled once but twice is not acceptable.

I for one will join the many in the streets shouting what I believe is good for the country. JUNK HR 1109. JUNK TERM EXTENSION..

  5. Dinah says:

shame on my my congresswoman as well!

  6. Natsm16 says:

This is the time to disprove the propaganda things of those anti that Arroyo will remain in power.. They keep on believing things which will not surely happen..We Filipinos enjoy hulas rather than reality.. We always predict and exaggerate the negative side while we don’t care about the positive side.. Corruption does exist between the two political rival parties (Opposition & Administration) but while the administration is struggling with allegations of corruption the opposition is simply smiling doing the same thing in the shadow of those accusation thrown against their co-corrupt administration..

We should not blame our faults to our leader, blame ourselves instead..I can’;t imagine people going to the street without even knowing what they are shouting..

  7. Jimmy says:

For me, its unfathomable why the listed congressmen have so easily joined the bandwagon of an obvious coup de etat to grab the powers of the Senate by insisting they can amend the law of the land all by the lonesome self of the misguided House of Representative? Ang kakapal talaga nila.

  8. jocy says:

    Thanks for publishing the list.

Ipamamahagi ko ito sa lahat ng kakila kong botante.

  9. xtreme2121 says:

Tony Abaya http://acabaya.blogspot.com/ has written columns and blogged about this for years. He as been advocating a transitional government since 2002. Since 2005 has written about charter change and the subsequent self appointment of GMA as Prime Minister in a new Parliamentary system of government. He even wrote an article “GMA Forever”. These events are merely the final acts of this play. The new Lakas-Kampi-CMD syndicate has no choice but to go along with it. As Tony Abaya foretold, it is GMA Forever.
