The Cyberspace is like any other urban streets and alleyways. There
are picpockets, scam artists, con people, holduppers, prostitutes of
all sexual orientations and all kinds of perverts. The Information
Technology field is evolving fast. That the law cannot keep up with.

We are against anything that intrudes the privacy of people. Including
the gathering of datas. This could lead to witch hunting of political
opponents. And harrassment of people that are against the power of any
administration. We dont want the Big Brother Watching You scenario of
any kind.

We urge all Filipinos to use the Information Technology responsibly.
Not using it, as sexual perverts all kinds use it. Use it for
information sharing. And nation building.

Oppression,
digital age. Big brother for sure. The only safety they are interested in saving is the safety of their empowerment, not the safety represented in a free expression of ideas.

Security IS the open exchange of ideas. Freedom is just that. One should not have to work in one's private space and wonder if government is snooping.

cocoy,

Given the core of the Digital World. It is by far, one of the few, greatest accomplishment that mankind have achieved. To be able to interpret the meaning of ideas and their philosophical thoughts, through cable lines, Wi-Fi, via baud or internet connections.

From this present day society, mankind has the potential to disseminate, exchange tangible ways of communicating with an opposing individual from the other side of the world. It gives us the ability to discern what we; as individual user of the internet, or digital world we live in today. It is the, free form of communications, or should I say Freedom of the press.

1935 CONSTITUTION OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES

ARTICLE III
Bill of Rights

Section 1.

(1) No person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law, nor shall any person be denied the equal protection of the laws.

(2) Private property shall not be taken for public use without just compensation.

(3) The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue but upon probable cause, to be determined by the judge after examination under oath or affirmation of the complainant and the witnesses he may produce, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

(4) The liberty of abode and of changing the same within the limits prescribed by law shall not be impaired.

(5) The privacy of communication and correspondence shall be inviolable except upon lawful order of the court or when public safety and order require otherwise.

(6) The right to form associations or societies for purposes not contrary to law shall not be abridged.

(7) No law shall be made respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, and the free exercise and enjoyment of religious profession and worship, without discrimination or preference, shall forever be allowed. No religious test shall be required for the exercise of civil or political rights.

(8) No law shall be passed abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and petition the Government for redress of grievances.[...]

Food for Thoughts:
Are we even going to allow these uneducated legislators to rewrite our Constitutional Rights.
Remember their names. They are the one(s) who are infringing our rights to Freedom of Speech.
