How true, what counts ultimately is how one views the holidays personally.

But is it necessary to rain on the parade of the 80-90% majority who want to practice or celebrate them they way they were taught or they believe to be true – on the very times and places they want to do it?

I would rather celebrate in silence when that huge majority decides to celebrate it otherwise. But with the fervent hope that they come around to seeing things differently.
